The Dispatch
When you subscribe, we collect your email address and your consent and confirmation records. MailerLite processes subscriptions and sends our emails. Its records can include signup source, time, IP address, subscription status and email delivery and engagement information, including opens and link clicks. We use these records to send new music, Studio notes, first listens and listener votes, manage consent and unsubscribes, prevent abuse and understand which emails are useful.
Signing up is optional. Tick the consent box and confirm through the email we send before receiving the Dispatch. You can unsubscribe using the link in any Dispatch email. We do not sell the Dispatch subscriber list or share it with other artists for their marketing.
Measuring confirmed subscriptions
The optional measurement choice on our signup page lets us connect a confirmed subscription with the campaign that brought you here. We use a secret-key hash of your email address to match your signup with MailerLite’s confirmation signal in Cloudflare. The matching record contains a Google Analytics browser and session identifier and campaign information if you choose measurement; it expires after seven days. Your email address itself is not saved in this matching record.
Only after confirmation, and only when you choose measurement, do we send a confirmed-subscription event, browser identifier, session identifier and campaign information to Google Analytics. We do not send your email address, its hash, your MailerLite subscriber identifier or your confirmation link to Google. A separate limited record of the subscriber identifier and confirmation time prevents repeat callbacks from being counted twice. You can subscribe without choosing measurement.
Website visits and listening
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. Technical information such as your IP address, request time, browser and requested page may be processed for delivery, security and troubleshooting. The site also uses Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags and sends page and listening-link events for audience measurement. Depending on the tags loaded and your browser settings, Google may process device, cookie and usage information. Newsletter email addresses and private vote notes are not included in our website listening events.
Embedded YouTube players and links to services such as Spotify and social networks connect to those providers. Their privacy practices apply when you use them. You can manage cookies in your browser and use its tracking controls, although blocking scripts may affect embedded forms or players.
Listener votes
The No Receipts ballot stores your choice, optional note and submission time in Cloudflare D1. A first-party cookie named amos_no_receipts_voter lasts up to one year and helps limit each browser to one vote per poll. We store a hashed identifier for duplicate prevention. Aggregate results are shown to listeners; optional notes are available to The AI Muse and are not published by the ballot. Voting does not require an email address. Please avoid putting personal or sensitive information in a note.
Providers and retention
MailerLite, Cloudflare and Google process information to provide their services. Replies sent to dispatch@aimuseuniverse.com are routed by Cloudflare to our Gmail inbox. Providers may process information outside your country, where local laws may differ. See MailerLite’s privacy policy, Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.
We keep subscription information while you subscribe. After an unsubscribe, limited suppression and consent records may remain to respect your choice and document consent. Vote records remain for the listening project and its release decisions. Contact us if you want information removed; records needed for legal obligations, security or suppression may need to be retained.
Your choices and requests
You can request access, correction or deletion of information we hold, withdraw newsletter consent, or raise a privacy concern by emailing dispatch@aimuseuniverse.com. Include enough detail to identify the relevant subscription or submission; we may need to verify your identity. We will explain any information we cannot remove and why.
We will update this notice when our practices change and seek additional consent where required for a new use of your information.
